Number Of The Stars

This book is about a Danish family how like Copenhagen during the times of the World War 2. Annemarie has a friend named Ellen is Jewish and Ellen's family is endanger because they are Jewish. The Johansen Annemarie's family is going to help the Rosons family. They are going to keep Ellen secretly in there house with the family and pretend she is the older sister. So far there has been solders that went there to check there apartment to find Rosens  family but they got away with it because there plan worked. Now the mom and the girl went to the uncles house in the county to get away from everything but they left the dad because they think it will look suspicion.

As I was reading I found a memory moment when the mom and Annemarie remember when she use to live out there in the county she said "My Aunt Gitte lived there, in the house...she always had wonder flowers in her garden." and Annemarie had a memory moment from when she remember when her family used to always enjoy there company and laugh and have a good time but now its all different because she said "But there was a difference. In the earlier times, she had always overheard laughter. Tonight there was no laughter at all."

 Think People Were Bystanders During The Holocaust Because They Were Afraid Of What Mite Have Happened To Them If They Did Stand Up And Try To Do Something About It. If This Was Me I Know I Would Have Been An Up Stander Because, If I Saw Something Like This Happening I Would At Least Do My Best And Try To Do Something About It Instead Of Just Letting The Problems Add Up I Would Of Solved Them Before It Was Already To Late Because The More You Let Little Things Add Up They Don't Continue To Be Little Things Anymore They Pile Up Problem After Problem And Only Get Worse.

Poem And Article .

I think that the poem was more serious than the article because in the poem the boy tells about his feelings its sad because the boy doest even have much hope he loses it a lot of the time and just for gets who is because of the job he has to do when he was working he got so lost in his work that he thought of his self as a machine and its not like he could have just quit his job because then he would have been killed most likely.

When your reading a article it mostly just tells you facts about what happened and how there rights are being broken you cant really notice how the workers feel because it doest tell you it just gives you information about what happens and in an article it does tell you how workers were treated but it doest exactly explain how they feel about how they get treated an how there rights are being broken and stuff.

Summer Of Secrets Summary

In the book Summer of Secrets its about a hole bunch of different characters theres drama between everyone but like so far Darcy has a younger sister her name is Tarah and she was sexually harassed by her ex boy friend. But then Tarah meets this other boy an Darcy doest like the idea because she thinks that she is only 14 years old and after what happened to her she thinks its not right. And then the mom is starting to act really different and Darcy is scared because she thinks its because the mom and dad keep arguing. She's afraid that the dad is going to leave because Tarah looks up to her father and one time the dad left and when Tarah got harassed the dad was there and basically helped her so ever since the Tarah new that her dad would always protect her. And Darcy was just worried that if her dad left it would change Tarah because the first time the dad left Tarah was really depressed. I like this book a lot it has a lot of drama and its easier and I can read it really well its not to hard to easy its just right and the story is interesting.

Conflict And Theme.

In this book Mia is on her way to visit her family and its snowing out. She got into a car crash and now she is in a coma but the thing is she can see everything from watching her self sleep to actually hearing what people are saying about her she just doest know if she is dead or alive because if she is alive why can't she wake her self up? Its not a dream because she would know how to handle it if it was.  The theme of this book is to never over look something because people do care and I know this because she when she was in her coma she saw how her boy friend would do everything to see her and her family members were crying and talking about what happened.

Scope.

My reaction to "Call Of Duty" was like really touched because Jose had a dog that was his partner and he would train him to find bombs and other bad stuff and like Jose thought of the dog more then just a working dog he cared about him and loved him a lot. Jose basically thought there was more to the dog then just working that even though the dog works for the solders that he was his best friend. Jose and his dog were close that when Jose couldn't work as a solder anymore he had to adopt his dog because it just did not feel right with out him. Jose lost his legs do to a bomb going off and his dog was still there for him.

Mia

In the book If I Stay there is a young girl named Mia. She is family oriented because she thinks that she’s different from her family because her family has blue eyes and she has brown eyes. She actually does like to spend time with her family unlike most teenagers that won't really care to visit them. Mia is talented because she plays the cello and she has been since she was a little girl. I think Mia is strong because when she thought she was dead..she took it kinda okay like she was really curious she wast really all that scared. I know this is first person because in this book she says " I wake up this morning in a thin blanket of white covering our front lawn." And she tells her story about what happened to her.

    I Thought This Was A Really Surprising Book, Because I Didt Think Greg Would Actually Go Into A Apartment That Was Abandoned, Anything Could Have Happened To Him. But When I Found Out Lemon Browns Son Died.. I Felt Really Bad For Him. Even Though Lemon Brown Is Homeless, He Still Appreciates The Little Things He Has In Life.. Lemon Brown Goes Threw So Much Like With How Thugs Come Into The Apartment And They All Want Something From Him But He's Homeless So Theres Really Not Much He Can Give. I Thought It Was Interesting That The Treasure Lemon Brown Said He Had Was Really Just Something He Had Gave His Son Before His Lost. And That It Wast Anything Gold Or Any Thing Really Expensive, He Looked Beyond All Of That. Even Though He Knew That Even Though It Wast Really Worth Money.. That It Was Worth Way More To Him Then It Would Be To Anyone Else. Greg Didt Always Agree With What His Father Said. But Lemon Brown Taught Him To Appreciate What He Has Before Its Gone. That Even Though Him And His Father Argue, That He's Lucky To Have Someone To Be There And Support Him And Help Him Threw The Hard Times. Because In The Future Everything His Father Tells Him Will Rub Off On Greg And Help Him Become Something. 

Fault In Our Stars

In my book the " Fault In Our Stars" there is a girl named Hazel Grace and she has cancer, this cancer affects her lungs they can't get rid of the tumor so she will be stuck with this cancer for the rest of her life. Hazel has to go to this support group and talk to a lot of other people with problems that may or may not be like hers, but they all have cancer. Some of the people in the support group have it worse, Hazel is 17 years old and doesn't get out much. She has to carry this oxygen tank with her every where because if she doest have it, It will make it hard for her to breath. As she starts to go to this support group she meets this guy named Augustus. Augustus has cancer too but his cancer affects his leg the most. Everyone calls him Gus for short. Gus and Hazel started to talk a lot, they go really close to where people thought they were dating but they were not. Hazel somehow actually started to develop feelings for Gus but little did Hazel know Gus had feelings for Hazel as well. When you have cancer the doctors give you this chance where you get to make any wish and the hospital does there best to make it come true. As a child Hazel decided to choose to go to Disney World. Gus thought that was so basic. He would say "why would you choose to go there when thats every little kids wish, instead you could just go there when you get older." Gus barely got to the phase where they ask him what he wanted to do for his wish. He chose to go to Amsterdam, But he wanted to be able to bring Hazel. They really didn't think that would be such a good idea because of that fact Hazel has cancer and if she were to have a heart attack they would't be able to do anything because she would be up in the air on an air plane so it would be really hard for them to do anything about it. This book will make you cry..
